Fiat Unveils Hey Google Car Lineup
Fiat partnered with Google to release special versions of the Fiat 500 crossovers – Fiat 500, 500X and MPV – with Google design elements.
All three models will have Hey Google badges on the wheel arches and embroidered emblems on the seats. According to Fiat, this is the first time they have put another company’s emblem on a car.
All three vehicles are equipped with touchscreens with built-in Google Voice Assistant and offer some unique features through integration with Fiat’s Mopar Connect service. For example, car owners will be able to check information about their car through a smartphone or track car location and the trips made with Google Nest Hub.
Also, the car owner will receive a notification if someone tries to steal the car, or if it leaves the specified area or exceeds the specified speed.
The Fiat 500 will be available in ten countries: the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland. According to AutoExpress, prices in the UK start at £16,000 ($22,000) for a hatchback and £18,600 ($25,600) for a convertible.
